Self-Adhesive Label Materials We Supply
A pressure-sensitive laminate is three decisions: face, adhesive and liner. We stock the mainstream combinations and build the rest to order.
- Coated and semi-gloss paper — the workhorse for food, beverage and logistics labels.
- Thermal and thermal-transfer stocks — top-coated for scanner-grade barcodes and cold-chain use.
- PP, PE and PET films — white, clear and metallised for squeezable containers, cosmetics and durables.
- Specialty faces — textured wine papers, kraft, synthetic tear-resistant and void/tamper-evident.
- Adhesives — permanent, removable, freezer-grade, high-tack for recycled corrugate, and wash-off for returnable glass.
- Liners — glassine, PET and CCK, with thin PET liners for high-speed dispensing.
How to Choose by Application and Surface
Match the adhesive to the surface energy and the temperature at the moment of application, not at storage. Cold, wet or low-energy surfaces are where most field failures start.
- Chilled and frozen food — freezer-grade adhesive rated to −40 °C, applied above −5 °C.
- PE and PP containers — high-tack rubber-based adhesive for low surface energy plastics.
- Returnable glass — wash-off adhesive that releases cleanly in a caustic bath.
- Recycled corrugate — heavy-coat permanent adhesive to bridge a rough, dusty surface.
- Outdoor and chemical exposure — PP or PET face with UV-stable topcoat.
Widths, Reel Formats, MOQ and Lead Time
Material ships as jumbo reels or slit to your press width, with edge trim and core sizes to your specification.
- Widths: 50 mm to 1,300 mm; jumbo reels up to 1,300 mm.
- Core: 76.2 mm standard, 152.4 mm on request.
- MOQ: 500 m² for stocked constructions, 3,000 m² for made-to-order laminates.
- Lead time: 7–15 days for stock, 25–35 days for custom coating runs.
- Certification: FSC-certified papers and FDA-compliant adhesives for indirect food contact.
Quality Control and Sample Testing
Batches are tested for peel adhesion (FINAT FTM 1), loop tack, shear, release force and lay-flat. We supply free sample rolls so you can validate dispensing speed and matrix stripping on your own press before committing to volume.
