Key Features
- Four bodies: resin, fibre, PET and pressboard, one channel geometry
- Resin grade engineered for automatic die-cutters and long runs
- Fibre grade in 7–15 mm widths, hand-chamfers cleanly
- Stable adhesive tape for repeatable positioning
- Direct substitute for machined counter plates
- Channel widths 0.8–2.0 mm, heights 0.3–0.6 mm
Overview
When PVC wears out before the order finishes, step up a grade. The AP-RM series covers four bodies with the same channel geometry so you can change material without changing your make-ready sheet.
Grade by grade
Resin matrix is the sturdiest body in the range, built for automatic die-cutting machines and extended runs on tobacco, pharmaceutical and cosmetics cartons — a practical substitute for a machined counter plate at a fraction of the cost. Fibre matrix is supplied in 7–15 mm widths, chamfers easily by hand and suits medium runs. PET matrix gives dimensional stability with a thin base. Pressboard matrix is the economical choice for short runs and jobbing work.
Same sizing rules
Channel selection follows the same formula as the PVC creasing matrix: width = 1.5 × board calliper + creasing rule thickness. For folds that must run against the printed side, use the reverse bend matrix.
