What is fluorescent hot stamping foil?
Fluorescent hot stamping foil delivers the high-visibility, attention-grabbing colour that standard pigment or metallic stamping foils cannot match. Formulated with fluorescent (daylight-bright) pigments, it produces neon-intensity colour under normal light and, in select formulations, glows under UV/blacklight — a go-to choice for packaging, apparel labels, event materials and promotional print that must stand out on shelf or under stage lighting.
Like our standard hot stamping foils, it is built on a BOPET carrier with a release layer and heat-seal adhesive, so it runs on the flatbed and rotary hot stamping equipment your team already uses — including the XG1080G fully automatic hot stamping machine — with no special tooling required.
Neon colours & UV-reactive options
Stock shades cover neon pink, yellow, green, orange and blue, with custom colour matching available. A dedicated blacklight-reactive grade fluoresces under UV for nightlife, festival and cosmetics packaging, and can be combined with holographic foil or security foil for layered visual effects.
Where fluorescent foil is used
Apparel and footwear labels, hangtags and heat-transfer branding; event tickets and wristbands; cosmetics and beverage packaging for trend-driven markets; retail and point-of-sale materials needing shelf standout; greeting cards, gift wrap and stationery. For textile work, pair it with our textile hot stamping foil range.
Lightfastness note
As with most fluorescent pigments, colour intensity fades faster under prolonged direct sunlight than standard pigment foils. Fluorescent foil is recommended for indoor or short-term outdoor use; for long-term outdoor applications, ask our team about suitable alternatives.
